KBC Brewery & Beer Garden welcomes you for a day full of Oktoberfest celebration! Saturday, September 24th from Noon to Midnight. We encourage our patrons to dress in traditional Oktoberfest costume or Bavarian colors (blue, white, and gold) for the event!
We will be kicking things off with free crafts for kids (limited time – see schedule) German themed food will be available all day, plus our Fest Bier, German style beers, soda, and many other beverages.
With live Polka music, team competitions, and a rock band, there will be plenty to keep you entertained all day long.
Please note – Due to the large number of people expected to attend, we ask that patrons not bring dogs to Oktoberfest (service dogs always welcome). This is not a bring your own food event. Thank you!
Schedule of Events:
Noon – Biergarten opens
Tony will be back with the truck and a great menu of German eats! Weiner schnitzel, brauts, sauerkraut, spatzle, pretzels, and sausage.
Noon – 12:45 pm – Craftmaking
Get the kids into the Oktoberfest spirit with German themed crafts!
1 pm – Dedication of the Oktoberfest Mayor
Every Oktoberfest needs a mayor. The KBC staff will elect a Mayor to lead the festivities. Our most worthy patron will be chosen. If you are a frequent customer, you should arrive by 1pm because YOU could be the Mayor.
1:45 pm – Tapping of the Festbier
Our Mayor will officially dedicate and open the Oktoberfest Celebration as we “Roll Out The Barrel” of our Oktoberfest Festbier.
You can’t have an Oktoberfest without POLKA! The Schwarze Schafe Trio will perform interactive Polka fun for all ages!
4:30 – 6:30 pm – The Beer Garden Games
Let the games begin! Teams of 2 will compete in 3 challenging Oktoberfest-style relay races including The Barrel Rolling Race, The Fraulein Dash, and new this year … The Weiner Toss!
The House Tones play blues, rock, funk, and folk music ranging from 60’s-70’s through contemporary. Songs from artists include Tom Waits, Black Keys, Dylan, Sublime, Gorillaz, Elton John, Tom Petty.
